The Silver Man (2023)
Published on September 18, 2023, The Silver Man is a 182-page journey into the lives of six different characters whose stories relate to one another in a unique way. The 'silver man,' an omniscient being analogous to each of these characters' individual souls, acts as the narrator of this work of experimental fiction.

During or directly prior to the writing of this piece, I was reading a lot of experimental literature, metafiction, and characteristically postmodern works, including but not limited to Virginia Woolf's To The Lighthouse and The Waves, in addition to several works by Italo Calvino, David Foster Wallace, William Faulkner, Toni Morrison, and Thomas Pynchon. My use of non-linear storytelling as a narrative technique and experimentation with the voice and tone of each character is certainly influenced by my reading in this respect.
